Composite panels for boat building manufactured by BCP reduce the added weight of a boat’s structure making them an ideal material for a variety of marine applications.
Lift cladding is an important factor to consider when constructing a building. It increases the mechanical strength of the elevator while offering protection from a range of elements.
BCP has a growing portfolio of electric vehicle clients and provides bonding, supporting and cooling plates for batteries. We manufacture many different parts for an electric battery. This includes the upper housing, cell modules, battery housing, underbody protection and base plate cooling. These parts can be used in both cars and buses.

Strong but lightweight curved panels are used in a wide variety of applications, in the rail, marine and architectural sectors, allowing companies to save on weight, cost and materials.
BCP has added an additional option to their range of finishes, with the ability to print graphics directly onto the aluminium skin’s surface. With the direct print surface finish, panels can either be completely covered or left transparent in areas allowing the aluminium to remain visible and producing a striking effect.
As well as flat aluminium composite panels, BCP also produce lightweight and durable curved aluminium honeycomb composite panels. They can be engineered to be extremely strong and supportive, yet not add excess weight. Their durability also means they are able to withstand a large amount of interaction with external forces while still remaining in good condition.
BCP has been manufacturing custom made vacuum tables since 1988 and has built up a worldwide reputation in the field. Our custom made vacuum tables are all made in-house from our Cambridgeshire based headquarters and production facilities and are distributed worldwide.
High Pressure Laminate (HPL) is made by fusing layers of cellulose fibres (paper) and phenolic resins together under intense heat and high pressure. The thermosetting process converts the phenolic resins into plastic and the cellulose fibres into one single laminated sheet with one decorative side.
As outlined by the Department for Transport (DfT) all UK rolling stock will be required to comply with the Technical Specification for Interoperability for Persons with Reduced Mobility (PRM-TSI) legislation by 1 January 2020*.
Aside from our standard aluminium honeycomb panels, BCP also have the capability to manufacture a range of innovative surface materials which can be used in domestic, public and commercial building applications.
Aluminium is strong, lightweight and sustainable making it perfect for a wide range of uses. Here are some interesting facts about this material.
