MotorsportAM 2021 is set to unite the fast-paced motorsport industry with the wonderful world of advanced materials and engineering at the world-famous Silverstone Circuit for a new 2-day event.
BCP is pleased to confirm our participation at this exciting exhibition taking place from 6th to 7th October 2021. We will be exhibiting our bespoke aluminium honeycomb composite panels and showcasing how they can be used for various motorsport applications.
The Motorsport industry has been committed to using lightweight solutions for decades. BCP’s composite panels provide this specialised sector with lightweight, strong, and durable components that are quick and easy to assemble, reduce maintenance costs and increase the speed of production. The panels reduce vehicle weight, which decreases fuel consumption and enhances performance.
BCP work with several specialist engineering companies who use aluminium composites to provide their own bespoke manufacturing solutions to the Motorsport sector. The high strength-to-weight ratio and stiff properties of BCP’s aluminium composite panels means that they can be used for a wide variety of Motorsport applications including F1 racing car restoration projects. BCP also have the capabilities to manufacture many different parts for an electric vehicle battery including the upper housing, cell modules, battery housing, underbody protection and base plate cooling.
